Identity Theft Removal

Accounts on Your Report That Aren't Yours?

Identity theft can leave you with accounts, inquiries, and debts you never opened. Federal law gives you the right to have fraudulent information blocked. We handle the process with all three bureaus.

Your Rights Under FCRA Section 605B

Section 605B of the Fair Credit Reporting Act lets identity theft victims request that credit bureaus block information that resulted from the theft. When a bureau receives a proper request with proof of identity and an identity theft report, it generally must block that information within four business days.

An identity theft report can be filed with the Federal Trade Commission at IdentityTheft.gov. We help you build a complete, well-documented request so it is taken seriously.

Signs of Identity Theft on Your Report

Look for anything you do not recognize:

  • Credit cards or loans you never opened
  • Hard inquiries you did not authorize
  • Collections for debts that are not yours
  • Addresses where you never lived
  • Name variations you have never used
  • Sudden balances on accounts you closed

How We Handle It

We take the guesswork and paperwork off your plate:

1

Identify Fraudulent Items

We review all three reports and flag every account, inquiry, and address tied to the theft.

2

Build Your 605B Package

We help you assemble proof of identity, your identity theft report, and specific block requests for each bureau.

3

Monitor and Follow Up

We track each bureau's response and follow up on anything that is not blocked as required.

Identity Theft Removal: Common Questions

Do I need a police report?

Not necessarily. An FTC identity theft report from IdentityTheft.gov can serve as the identity theft report. A police report can add support in some cases.

How fast does a 605B block happen?

Once a bureau receives a complete request, the FCRA generally requires it to block the information within four business days. Incomplete requests can be delayed or denied.

Should I freeze my credit?

A credit freeze is free and stops new accounts from being opened in your name. It is a smart step for most identity theft victims, and you can lift it when you need to apply for credit.

What does it cost?

Our Monthly Plan is $250 to start, then $150 per month. FASTRAK is $899 one-time. No per-deletion fees.
