Student Loans Dragging You Down? Let's Check the Reporting.
Student loans change servicers, go into deferment, and get consolidated. Every change is another chance for a reporting mistake. We review every student loan on all three bureaus and dispute anything inaccurate or unverifiable.
Why Student Loan Reporting Goes Wrong
Federal student loans are usually reported late once they are 90 days past due. Private student loans can report as early as 30 days. A loan in default can damage your score for up to seven years.
When loans move between servicers, the same debt can appear twice, or lates can be reported for months you were in an approved deferment or forbearance. Those errors can be disputed.
Student Loan Errors We Find All the Time
Here is what we look for on student loan accounts:
- The same loan reported by old and new servicers
- Lates reported during deferment or forbearance
- Wrong balances after consolidation
- Defaults that were rehabilitated or resolved
- Wrong dates or payment status
- Loans that are not yours

Student Loan Reporting Disputes: Common Questions
Can student loans be removed from my credit report?
Accurate, verified student loan reporting can legally stay. Removal is not guaranteed. Duplicate accounts and inaccurate lates or balances can be disputed.
Does loan rehabilitation help my credit?
For federal loans, completing rehabilitation removes the record of default from your credit report. Late payments reported before the default can remain.
Can you lower my student loan payments?
No. Repayment plans, forgiveness, and rehabilitation go through your loan servicer or the Department of Education. We focus on how your loans are reported.
How long does it take?
Each round of disputes usually takes about 30 days per bureau. Our FASTRAK program delivers results in as little as 7 to 21 days. Our Monthly Plan typically runs 3 to 9 months. Individual results vary.
What does it cost?
Our Monthly Plan is $250 to start, then $150 per month. FASTRAK is $899 one-time. We never charge per deletion.
